The whole interview process took 4 weeks. This opportunity came through a external recruitment agency and they arranged for an initial round with the VP of App Development, and the next week I met with 4 different people from their Application Development Group, which lasted for 2 hours. After the interview, I did not get any response from the HR, but the consultant gave an update saying that they are still in the process of completing the hiring process. After a week, I was asked if I would accept the offer for $XXX, XXX. I politely requested a quick meeting with their HR to go over the benefits, but received no invite for 2 days, and the next week, the external recruitment consultant informed me that there was a miscommunication, and they offered the position to some other candidate. I respect their decision to go with some other candidate, but I want to request that the HR Dept have some degree of transparency and clear and concise communication with the candidates. It was not a thorough professional experience in the way the whole process ended. Please respect the candidate's investment of time and effort and provide them with clear answers without any grey area.
