I applied online for the position with BrightEdge and was contacted relatively quickly, via email, to set up what amounted to an initial phone screen. After about a 20 minute conversation I was told that they would like to schedule a follow-up call with the hiring manager, which took place about a week later. That call last approximately 30 minutes with some pretty standard inteveiw questions regarding my background, how I got interested in BrightEdge and a question or two like 'Tell me about sommething amazing you have done to delight a customer?'. About a week and a half to two weeks later I was invited in for an onsight interview.
The onsite interview was almost like a more detailed extension of my second phone interview and I was able to speak to the hiring manager (for the second time), the head recruiter and someone in the CSM postition. All very straight forward very fair, all though I was pretty well tripped up by a 'math problem', representative of a customer inquiry, that I wasn't completely ready for.
About two weeks passed before I was contacted by BrightEdge, they definitely apologized for having taken so long to bget back, and I was asked to come in for a second on site interview. At this point, for various reasons, I declined the opportunity to move forward in the interview process.
