Unfortunately, the skills assessment couldn’t go ahead on the day due to the weather, which wasn’t ideal and definitely not how we usually operate. If you’d been successful at that stage, we would have invited you back on another day to complete the practical assessment. Since the role is outdoors, we try to give candidates a realistic sense of the work and the environment, but I completely understand how the weather made things challenging that day. In terms of the interview location, we aim to make it as convenient as possible by choosing local sites rather than asking candidates to travel to our offices, which are over an hour away from Southam. We’ve had feedback about travel times before, so we’ve tried to strike a balance, but we’ll take your comments on board to see how we can improve the process further.
