I did an in person interview. It was mostly a behavioral interview where they asked me questions about myself like what sort of extracurricular stuff i enjoyed doing in high school and college.
I interviewed at Bryan Research & Engineering (Bryan, TX)
Interview
I had a very positive phone screening and then had a video call. The person on the video call did not identify themselves as the CEO and asked a variety of personal questions regarding my relationship status and "family values." I indicated that I enjoy a hybrid work schedule to focus on projects, and I was told "we don't do that here. Even when the roads are iced over, we just come in a few hours late."
Very awkward interview. I interviewed with the owner and he asked me very few technical questions, which appeared to me was because he is somewhat illiterate to modern software development. He primarily asked a bunch of questions pertaining to my personal life, some of which were completely inappropriate.
