I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Build a Rocket Boy (London, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
Only got to second stage which was with the hiring manager who didn't seem at all engaged - I withdrew at this stage as it just seemed to be a bad fit for me from a culture perspective.
I interviewed at Build a Rocket Boy (Edinburgh, Scotland)
Interview
Several interviews with various people, starting with recruitment, ending with Publishing Manager. Seemed nice enough, but at offer stage, they suddenly decided that the role had no remote option, which didn't suit me. In hindsight I think I dodged a bullet, as massive layoffs ensued.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Build a Rocket Boy (Budapest) in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process was excessive and unnecessarily long. I often felt more like an object being evaluated than a person being genuinely considered for a role. Communication was vague and inconsistent, and very little clear information was provided about the position or next steps. Some interviewers were disrespectful in tone, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional.
The ironic part is that I was eventually hired — but the poor treatment during the interview was an early warning of how the company operates internally.
