I had an uncomfortable interview with this company. I arrived 30 minutes early but was told I wouldn’t be seen until the scheduled time. While waiting, I noticed a strong odor of marijuana in the building, which made me uncomfortable. When I briefly went to the restroom to freshen up, (since I felt the odor had clung to my clothes). I was called twice despite earlier being told to wait. I was later lectured for not staying in the lobby, even though I was still early.
During the interview, I was left alone for 10-15 minutes, and then blamed for the interview starting late (even though again I was early and in the room 10 minutes early). The tone was condescending, as if I knew nothing about HR despite numerous years of experience; especially when discussing LinkedIn. My resume data was questioned, and I was accused of inflating my accomplishments, (which has never happened) and was unfounded. Bias was evident from the start, and it was clear I wasn’t seriously considered.
I came across a review from a current employee who mentioned that "leadership belittles you and is extremely arrogant." Based on my interview, I would have to agree with this sentiment.
