Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Burger King in Dec 2013
Interview
Submitted resume and cover letter, did series of phone and virtual interviews. Asked a series of questions and was required to carry out swift calculations on the spot to test competency. The final interview was at headquarters in Miami and was a whole day with a very well qualified fairly small group of people where we were asked to give short presentation on why she should hire them to executives.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The short elevator pitch at the final level was the most stressful point, most individuals gave short powerpoint presentations on themselves. I chose to do a confident short and sweet speech.
Phone call interview. Interviewer asked behavioral and logic questions.
The interviewer was very rushed and seemed distracted throughout the process. I was also asked to do a quasi-case, but it was not structured well and was awkward to do over the phone. Question involved a market study question on how to theoretically expand customer demographics.

Question 1
A frog is at the bottom of a 30 meter well. Each day he makes one 3 meter leap up the well. Exhausted, he then hangs there for the rest of the day. At night, while he is asleep, he slips 2 meters backwards. How many days does it take him to escape from the well?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burger King (Singapore) in Dec 2015
Interview
The assessment centre was in a Business Game format where quick decision making, team work and presentation skills were tested. The process was not exactly stressful, but it was not easy to do well in the game. Burger King staff will observe you and gave comments during the business game. Some questions were quite challenging to answer on the spot. There is really no way to prepare for the business game, just come with confidence and some basic economic knowledge.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Burger King in Feb 2015
Interview
I submitted my resume and cover letter through my university's career services website. The interview was in person, one-on-one. It was very informal and I was able to ask many questions.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
They asked a question that required estimation and another that required basic math skills.
