I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (Fresno, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
The interview took place at a job fair. Questions were fairly basic but they pretended to have high standards as far as their employees (I say pretended due to certain employees being fired for theft and others for drugs). Interview was two steps. First with a hiring manager and then with the store manager.
The interview was mostly a one-on-one conversation and overall it was fairly simple. As long as your personality and work style align with the culture and expectations of that specific location, you should do just fine.
I applied online. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (Grand Junction, CO) in Feb 2026
Interview
Polite and understanding. Very relaxed setting yet formal. Was given the job expectations and qualifications as well as general idea of how shift is handled. I felt accepted and involved the second I walked into the interview
