I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Burns & McDonnell (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was very simple. There was a simple online interview after I talked to them at a career fair. The interview was online and prerecorded. I simply answered a few very basic questions in the recording, and it was done.
The first one is a pre-recorded interview, which is comparatively easy and mostly centrered around past experiences. The second one is a teams call which I am yet to attend.
One online “interview” where it asks questions and you record answers. Then had a 30 minute interview with an HR person where we discussed my interests and resume. Then had a phone call with a senior engineer for around 30 minutes asking about my resume and experience. Seems like they are gauging more about how you are as a person than the technical aspects of engineering.

Question 1
Be prepared to explain your projects, previous work experience, coursework, etc.
It was a great interview process, and the HR was very helpful. It goes relatively fast, and they constantly keep you updated throughout the process. The interview itself was not too hard. It was mostly behavioral questions.
