Started with my first interview on the 29th April and went extremely well was super happy with the feedback and was told I would hear back in a week, on the 14th of May I still heard nothing so I asked for an updated and was told they would be in touch.
Eventually I got a phone call asking for a second interview on the 19th of May and it went extremely well again, I was told I was a great fit and as they were not looking to pay the actual salary of a HR generalist I was a good fit as I was just out of college (should have been a red flag from then) after this interview I was feeling extremely hopeful and was told I would hear back by the next day as they had another “candidate”.
2 days later I heard nothing so again I sent a follow up and then eventually I get an email to say they were so impressed with me but decided to continue their search? It left me extremely disappointed with the Hr in general but just overall being left on the long finger with so much hope to be let down. Disappointed is the only word.
