I appeared for the DevOps Engineer position at Bytes Technolab twice (Oct 2024 and Aug 2025).
Both times I cleared all technical rounds including the CTO round. In fact, they even collected my payslips during the first process, which usually indicates closure is near.
But here’s the reality:
After completing everything, the only response I kept getting was “It’s positive, please wait, CTO is out of India” or “we’ll update in 2 days”.
No concrete timelines, no professionalism, and no respect for a candidate’s time.
Both times the process ended with “We are putting it on hold”, after weeks of delays and false hope.
My work commitments and personal time were affected badly due to their repeated unprofessional follow-ups.
This is not just a one-off mistake — it shows a pattern of disrespect towards candidates. If the role was not open or budget wasn’t cleared, they should never have wasted people’s time with multiple rounds, payslip collection, and repeated promises.
Verdict:
👉 Unprofessional, misleading, and disorganized interview process.
👉 Wasted candidate time with false promises.
👉 Not recommended for serious professionals.
