Although you did not meet the required years of experience of direct payroll processing, we were willing to consider you for another position because of your professional demeanor during the phone screen and initial interview.
C2 strives to provide all candidates with a compensation and benefits package that is competitive in the market for the position you were being considered for. I’m sorry to hear that you declined our offer due, in large part, to the salary and benefits package. However, having talked with the recruiter, you never raised these issues with the hiring manager or tried to negotiate for a higher salary or increased benefits. We would have welcomed the chance to at least discuss these issues with you before you made your final decision. C2 has always had an “open door” policy for its employees, and candidates should likewise feel free to ask questions or seek clarification to issues they have questions or concerns about.
