Applied via LinkedIn. The process consisted of two rounds.
Round 1: A really positive and pleasant experience. The discussion centered around my projects and relevant technical concepts.
Round 2: Unfortunately, this round was highly disappointing. The interviewer focused heavily on a project from a couple of years ago, expecting detailed recall of minor nuances that are difficult to remember after so much time, rather than focusing on current or recent work. The session also included puzzles that felt unnecessarily confusing.
Advice to Management:
Ensure interviewers focus on recent relevant experience rather than testing deep recall on older projects. While feedback to "be selective about which projects to highlight" is fair, the overall delivery and expectations during the technical evaluation could be much more constructive and realistic.
