I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CATT (College Park, MD) in Jan 2014
Interview
One phone interview for about 30 minutes, this was just a review of my resume and basic behavioral questions. Then there was a one hour on-site interview. They were fairly fast in responding to me once I had started the interview process, and the whole thing was relaxed. As far as the behavioral interview goes, the questions were just about previous projects that I had worked on. This interview was informal and conducted by an employee, however now the process is handled specifically by a hiring manager. I believe the technical interview is still handled in the same way, with just a task to complete within an hour, and a discussion at the end. Overall not very stressful but best to prepare.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
On the phone, the questions were non-technical, just about recent projects and things from my resume. The on-site interview was one hour of debugging and improving Java code for a hash map. They gave me a choice of what language for the technical interview, options included C and Java. They mainly left me alone for an hour, and came back at the end to discuss the changes I had made and possible other improvements I could have made.
