I applied to CED through LinkedIn. After some phone interviews I was invited to the office for a final, in-person interview.
Bizarre interview setting. Interview took place in a room that was barely larger than a supply closet. I sat across from a manager who was in-person, but another manager attended via a teams call through a computer sitting on the table. Awkward dynamic and there was some audio issues.
When asked for my availability for the final interview I gave a date that was less than a week away. Was then told something along the lines of "we are finishing up interviews and need to interview you before then" (read on, because this was a blatant lie) which required me to take time off from my current role. At the end of the interview I was told they thought I would be bored during the job and was essentially told I was overqualified for the role based on my current job responsibilities. They told me a decision should be made within a couple of business days.
After following up with both interviewers they then said they had more interviews into the next week and a decision would be made after. They told me this AFTER they rushed me in to the interview even though I gave date earlier than the last round of interviews. A huge waste of my time and extremely unprofessional all around.
