The whole interview process was very drawn out and lengthy. I was advised by a close friend that works for CHG that if I made it past the second in-person interview I would likely receive a job offer, but it seemed like I was given multiple interviews in order to confuse me and draw out the hiring process, as opposed to just telling me they "went in another direction". Let me explain...
Initially, I had a phone interview that was pretty typical. I was then asked to do an in-person interview about a week later. I originally applied for the Licensing Coordinator position, but the recruiter changed up the interview half way through and wanted to put me through the Physician Recruiter (sales) interview process. I then had a second interview for the sales position about a week later. I was given feedback that they think I would do well at a different company that was a recent acquisition, and I interviewed there as well (at this point I was a month into the whole process). A few days after that interview, the recruiter called me and they decided that I would not be a good fit for the sales position, and that I would need to start the interview process over for the Licensing Coordinator position--the position I had applied for in the first place.
As you can guess, I was very frustrated that the recruiter had wasted a month of my time and about 4 hours of interview time, not to mention gasoline and other expenses. Needless to say, I did not accept the invitation to interview for the Licensing Coordinator position.
Although this company has great reviews, I think the interview process was horrendous. I was applying with many other companies at the same time, and comparatively, CHG could learn a bit about respecting their applicants time and efforts.
