1st phone call from HR to briefly explain the job scope, understand your background and request for salary expectation. Followed by f2f interview with hiring manager and dep head explaining in detail the job expectation and typical interview questions. Pleasant interview experience. Asked to submit referee and past payslip after interview. 2 referee was named and contacted. Low ball offer was made by HR which is no near to the salary expectation set out during the first phone call with HR. Efforts for negotiation was turn down. Pretty disappointed as time was wasted (including referees) and was already pretty looking forward to be on board.
