      QA Analyst Interview

      7 Aug 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Manchester, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CMap (Manchester, England) in Jul 2025

      Interview

The interview process had 3 stages, the first with a representative from the recruitment team to talk about the job role and expectations, the second was with the Chief Architect to talk about the company and my role within it and what I could bring from my previous experience. The final stage was with the Chief Architect, Lead QA and Product Delivery Manager in which we talked about my previous experience, how I could transfer my skills from Gaming QA to Software QA and how I could further develop testing strategies. All the people I spoke with during this process were amazing and very supportive. I was given every opportunity to ask questions and was given a lot of information about what they wanted from me. This process was one of the most comfortable I've felt to do, even despite my inherit nervousness. At every stage I never felt like I was a burden or that the team didn't want to genuinely hear what I had to say and during the interviews they would ask introspective questions that would allow me to expand on my answers. Ultimately I was successful with my interview but I feel that even if I wasn't I could have walked away with a new confidence in interviews that I could take with me.
