I applied online. I interviewed at CMiC in Aug 2025
Interview
I first had a phone screening with the recruiter, followed by a Teams interview with the project manager I’d be working with - both went well. The next step was an interview with the director. At the end of that interview, she asked if I was married, had kids, or planned to have kids (note this is illegal to be asked during a recruitment process). I was taken aback, and when I asked why, she explained that 3 people were on maternity leave at the same time. I was later invited to a final interview, but I declined to move forward.

The interview process was smooth and clear, the managers were nice as well. Team members were punctual and always arrived on time. I was given feedback during my second round of interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CMiC (North York, ON) in Jul 2024
Interview
The job description and the role didn't match with what they wanted in a project coordinator. Expecting alot of micromanagement and basically the whole role was to assist in various tasks with HR and Finance teams.
We apologize that you had a negative experience with our hiring process. We do not have any Project Coordinator positions that work on tasks for HR or Finance. Our Project Coordinator positions are within our Services department and assist/manage projects related to the implementation of our software. Hopefully that helps clarify the nature of the role.
