      Interview

Early in the week, I got an email asking for an screening interview from HR a few months after applying, which HR recognized that it was a bit late for following up. I immediately replied with availability for the dates they mentioned. Did not receive a reply until about 2 weeks later from the other HR person that was CC'd in the email right after someone attempted to randomly call me from a different phone number with the same area code. They wanted to speak the next day so I am not sure why they originally asked for availability weeks ago if they were going to make demands and ignore my availability. Spoke to the HR person. Extremely rude and unexpected experience. She was late by about 15 minutes. Her call quality was not clear so I could only hear about 75% of what she said. She began by reading through a related but different (or maybe extended?) job description that I did not apply for. Every questions she had asked were generic questions likes "tell me about a time..." but then she would interrupt me after 20 seconds into explaining to tell me to skip the explanation and basically summarize it into a sentence so she can write that down. This happened for every question she asked. At the end, she told me she would pass me through to the next round. I received a call later that same day asking about the name on my credentials since I had a recent legal name change but since the screening was randomly scheduled based on their convenience the previous day, I already had plans and wasn't able to pick up their call but sent them the relevant forms and explanation by email soon after the call. Did not hear back from the HR interviewer until I followed up twice weeks later where the interviewer only replied when I CC'd the original person who initially contacted me. I am assuming that the interviewer was someone supervised by the initial contact since the tone and behaviors were like day and night; the initial contact was much more professional and behaved as expected. Not sure if this was an issue with just this one HR person but everything was completely unprofessional and the initial contact did not step in to fix the interviewer's unprofessionalism. Oddly, the interviewer did not know the benefits of the company or what the company or the role actually does (even though the company really only has so many different types of people they hire and provides mainly one product/service to one client). Based on the emails with the interviewer, that was probably a clear sign to have not engaged with this company. Note: They are only paying $80k-$90k for this position so you are single, you might be living paycheck-to-paycheck for the area they are located in.

Thank you for sharing. Our team looked to rectify the situation by doing several follow ups. We have also since corrected any missteps in the process. Though this opportunity did not work, we hope you will consider CNA in the future.

      Interview

The interview process was straightforward, and consisted of an initial call with the recruiting team and a 1 on 1 call with your prospective manager. The final round interview consisted of an in person research style presentation followed by a series of 1 on 1 interviews.

      Interview

This was a multi-round interview process. The first round involved a 30-minute phone screening with HR. The second involved a 30-minute technical interview over Zoom. Lastly, the third round involved an on-site visit to include a 45-minute research presentation, a 1-hour research panel interview, a 1-hour lunch with senior-level staff, and a 1-hour interview with program directors. Overall, the experience was very positive and I enjoyed speaking with everyone.
