I wish I could write how the interview went, but it never took place.
Put in my resume on their website and was contacted about 2 weeks later to set up an interview time.
Within 30 minutes of receiving this email, I had set up my time. Shortly after this, I received an email confirming my time as well as detailing who would be interviewing me.
I specifically took time off of work to help line up the time for the interviewers availability. However when the time comes for the interview, no call. Completely ghosted.
This is both frustrating, and incredibly unprofessional and if you are a student looking to get your foot in the door of this industry in the form of an internship/co-op, I would HIGHLY suggest weighing your other options heavily. You may think that getting a job anywhere you can get it is a grand idea, however from experience I can tell you that it is not. Be selective.
I have worked at 4 other internship/co-ops prior to this interview, and I can tell you from first hand experience that issues like this that pop up in the interview/hiring process are always indicative of how it will be working for the company.
Please do not make the same mistake I have and ignore issues like these, as they will come back to bite you in the butt so hard you won't even believe it.
If you will take some advice from someone who has walked the path you are on, just walk away from this one. There are better opportunities out there.
