I was contacted by the Internal TA team. They called ME (unscheduled) and then wanted to put me in process right away.
I then was ghosted for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks Talent Acquisition reengaged apologizing and asking to put me in process again asking for availability. I responded within 2 minutes providing availability.
I then was ghosted again for another 2 weeks (after I followed up 2x within that 2 weeks) and just received a general rejection letter via their ATS.
My suggestion is to train your TA Team. Hold them to at least a minimum standard of responding. Have some kind of SOP or process in place. If I didn't respond in my role as an employee, I would probably be let go. I'm not upset about the role, but more of the extreme waste of time. My time is $$, and clearly Calix has $$ to waste since they want to mess with people's time.

Application
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Calix in Nov 2020
Interview
Zoom call with the recruiter followed by hiring manger, peers from same team , other teams followed by a panel interview, followed by interview with the VP and followed by wrap-up interview with the hiring manager. Received positive feedback after a week of wait and i was kept hanging for 2-3 weeks by saying offer was coming, eventually they told me that they want someone to be at the location in person and not remote so they are not going forward due to that reason, which did not make sense as from the very beginning of the interview process we were clear on the remote work and if that was the hard requirement there was no point in wasting their time and mine. I definitely liked the people who i interviewed with and would have loved to work with that team but overall a bad experience for me, lack of transparency and lack of communication were two main things that left a bad taste in my mouth in the end.

One of the Q was that 'Tell me about the last/recent technical problem you debugged/resolved' ?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Calix in Nov 2020
Interview
I had several meeting with individual people for about 30 minutes each and 1 hour with the China team. We would talk about management style to technical questions. Corporate culture was a big concern to them.
