Callnsolve HARDWARE & NETWORK Engineer interview questions

There is no process but they do expect the candidate to fax them the copy of cv sample which they said (after its filled with relevant details) and also send SMS confirmation that we are attending the interview....Anyways! I rejected the field engineer job and the interviewer told that I might be interested in online job if not field, so he told that he will explain me what exactly the online job is and instead of explaining things he started asking me questions like, "Do you know good in hardware & network" - what he meant was "are you good in hardware & network troubleshooting" "Do you good?" - I said, Yes. Q1. If client calls and says they have "excess" problem (access) what will you do? A: (in mind I thought, if its excess then give me some) - Told him it depends what "excess" he is talking about which might not relate to our problem if he is logging into a domain. - he was not convinced Q2: If there is no display what will you troubleshoot. A: I told that we check the basics, 1. If monitor is powered ON (power socket) 2. If the VGA cable is plugged in properly or not - he was not sure what VGA Cable is so he asked "you mean monitor cable?" 3. If everything is fine then check with another monitor - he was not convinced Interview told me "No, what will you do if it is not powering On" I was like "Huh????" just now you said display problem and after I answered now you are saying "power problem" So, I told him that I already gave him 3 points as he asked. He was still not convinced and said, he is not understanding me so will have someone else call me
