I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Canonical
Interview
The most unprofessional interview process I have ever seen. I applied for a position in the beginning of September. For 4 months I needed to go through more and more steps, more and more talks, tests, interviews, presentations, and throughout the whole time, I did not manage to get any information about estimated salary for this position. Till the middle of January they made me wait for an answer, which finished any remaining patience I got, making me decline from this god-awful process.
In total, I needed to go through:
- a written interview
- psychometric test
- 1. interview
- personality test
- 2. interview
- 3. interview
- a presentation that I needed to prepare
- 4. interview
Applying to this company is a waste of time.

Always the same questions, about my experience, what could Canonical change in their socials
Processo lungo, in più step. I primi tutti scritti e con monitor registrato per sicurezza: il problema principale per me è che si impiega tantissimo tempo senza ricevere un feedback sensato su quanto si è fatto e sul perché si è scartati (tutto in inglese)
Very disappointing. Long and intense. The whole process took about two months, with four interviews and and a presentation. I was due to have one more interview with the CMO but ultimately I got a pretty rude rejection email saying 'I didn't have the skills required for the job'. I wish I'd known that earlier in the process!

I applied online. I interviewed at Canonical (Berlin) in Sept 2024
Interview
The process was very lengthy, took over 6 months on interviews, presentations, tests and quizes. With no feedback whatsoever. At the end I resigned from the process to not waste any more of my time.
