I recently interviewed at Capgemini for the role of Chatbot Developer / Google CCAI Developer. The process started with an initial HR screening where I was asked about my background, notice period, and the reason behind my career shift into chatbot development. This was followed by a technical interview that focused primarily on my knowledge of Dialogflow (particularly CX) and Google CCAI tools. I was asked to explain how I would approach building a chatbot for specific use cases, along with questions related to webhook integration, APIs, and my hands-on experience with chatbot frameworks. The final round was an HR discussion where we talked about salary expectations, company policies, and overall fit with the organization. Overall, the interview process was smooth, focused, and professionally conducted.

Can you explain key concepts of Dialogflow CX and walk us through your roles and responsibilities in your previous chatbot projects?
I recently interviewed for a role at Capgemini. Overall, the process was smooth and well-organized. The interviewer was professional and asked relevant technical questions. I answered confidently and aligned my responses with the job description.
However, I was later informed that my “candidature does not meet the specific requirement for the position.” The feedback felt generic, and I wasn’t given clarity on what specific requirement I did not meet, even though the conversation went positively. More detailed feedback would have been helpful for growth and future interviews.

Interview
I got an email from one of the recruiters via Naukri. There were 3 rounds. The first round was screening and the second round was mostly related to projects and resume. The third round was client round which was similar to second round. They were quite satisfied with my performance.
Finally the HR called and asked me if I could join within 30 days, for which I said no. Initially they told me that the job location will be Chennai but later they said it will be Bangalore.
They didn't contact me for 2 weeks after that. And they sent a draft CTC which was not up to my expectations. So I declined their offer.
