Three steps...telephone screening, 3 part assessments (numerical, speed and accuracy and multiple choice) if you pass then you move through to the next phase which is 1 on 1 with the recruiter for me it turned out to be the regional manager who was interviewing.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Capitec Bank (Johannesburg) in Jan 2025
Interview
Two stages during the interview process over two days.
The first day is divided in to three rounds of aptitude tests completed by process of elimination. English, Mathematical and work based scenarios. Once you have passed all three rounds you move on to the final interview either the same day or the following day. There are usually only three to five candidates left.
The final interview involves two branch manager, the regional manager and the district managers as well.
You will get asked about yourself, why you think you are suited for this role and what can you bring to the branch. You also be asked to practically demonstrate your selling skills by selling something to them. They have to make the purchase from you.
Thereafter the will either higher you or politely reject your application.
