      Project Manager Interview

      10 Jun 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cardinal Path (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2014

      Interview

Only went through the first interview, declined the second interview. Honestly, the first interview was with an HR rep and I might as well have been having a conversation with a robot. It was a strict answer & question interview, zero room for conversation. The entire time, the HR rep was just typing away on the computer and seemed insanely impersonal. If i had to guess, she asked maybe 30-40 questions.

      Question 1

A lot of of "give me an example when this happened" or "tell me about a time that happened." The next interview would have been in-person, but I just didn't feel it was the right fit based on the questions I did ask... in between the typing.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cardinal Path (Chicago, IL) in May 2018

      Interview

I was contacted by a Recruiter from their Vancouver office for an interview over the phone. She asked me a number of typical-style interview questions about my work experience and the types of projects I have managed before in the past and then we talked about the company and the position. Overall it was conducted professionally and it seems like the company is going through an exciting time of growth. Although I didn't make it past the phone interview I left with a pretty good impression of the company.

How do I handle lots of competing tasks and deadlines.

      8 Oct 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cardinal Path in Aug 2014

      Interview

Three separate phone interviews. Hr, Operations, CFO. No face to face interview. The HR one was mostly informational and much of what I said was written down. That information was passed onto Operations, then to the CFO. The latter two interview were more situational. Questions related to process and tools used.

      Question 1

Give an example where you altered your PM style to suit a client's needs.
