I was sought out for this position through a mutual friend and the owner of the company because of the experience I have. During my first interview I was told that the only thing she was worried about was that she couldn't afford me. Once we discussed pay rate, which I said was acceptable (however there are no benefits)- she acted like I had the job but that I had to do a few more interviews, basically as a formality is how she made it sound. She also encouraged me to reach out to her via text if I had any questions or wanted to know where the process was and that she was happy to answer anything along the way. Fast forward to 2 weeks later and my third interview.. a week goes by and I hear nothing. I text the owner, as instructed, and got no response. The next day I get a generic email stating I did not get the position. No reasons, no nothing. At this point I am confused and text the owner to see what happened, just so that I know for future interviews things I can improve on. She messaged back letting me know that she has not been in touch with the team but they have a meeting the next day and she will let me know. As expected, I never heard back. I did reach out one last time to say that I would be reviewing the interview process and my dissatisfaction. Almost immediately I get an email back once again telling me that she forgot to get back to me but that she had another position she could tell me about if I am still interested. I am not. In a span of 3 weeks I have been told she was not in touch with her team, and that she would get back to me and forgot.. twice. I am not sure how this company can exist with this kind of communication coming from the owner. Would not recommend.
