I had a brief phone interview for a marketing position. The phone interview was conducted by a recruiter that seemed to primarily be verifying the work history that was on my resume. She then asked me if a couple of basic interview questions. The phone recruiter was not very familiar with the position itself, but did take the time to tell me what to expect for the rest of the interview process. I received an email several weeks later that said I was not moving forward to the next step.
