      Intern Interview

      7 Dec 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Burbank, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cartoon Network (Burbank, CA) in Nov 2017

      Interview

I applied online through the Turner website and was contacted through email 2 weeks later to do HireVue interview. The process was new to me but once I got past the nerves it was actually quite simple. The questions are straight forward and don't make you feel intimidated at all. Really just based on getting to know you and if you'd be a good fit for the studio. After that, I didn't hear from them for what seemed like a lifetime, almost a month past before someone contacted me via email to schedule a Skype interview with 3 people from the CN team. The first couple of questions asked were mainly about my resume, strengths/weaknesses typical questions. But it was all very conversational and easy going, I made them laugh a couple times which I think sealed the deal, I was contacted the next day with a start date and schedule for the semester.

      Intern Interview

      5 Nov 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Atlanta, GA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cartoon Network (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2017

      Interview

Applied online, got a response from the hiring manager after a couple of weeks. No on-site interview; just had to do two phone interviews, one with the project manager and the other with the lead developer. I'm a former Adult Swim intern, so all they asked was to tell them about myself, and what I did there. The interviews ended up becoming a great conversation, which probably sealed the deal.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

      Tell us about yourself
      Answer question

      Question 2

After the initial question, it's a conversation. If your interview isn't a conversation, you're most likely not going to get it—they do emphasize on a people-based environment
