I had an initial call with HR, followed by a call with the CTO then a scheduled call with the CPO. Initially, HR missed the appointed time for our first call. Upon connecting, HR mentioned they were looking for someone to join the product team to "Clean House."
My interview with the CTO was a last minute reschedule as well. When I spoke with the CTO, the first question I was asked was "have you ever let someone go?"
The CPO cancelled my interview 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cayuse in Apr 2021
Interview
The entire process was seamless. The HR team worked well to connect with me and schedule all 1:1 interviews throughout the interview process. Interviews were scheduled with various Cayuse team members with whom I will work and interact.

Question 1
What is your greatest weakness and how do you over come this weakness in your role.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cayuse (Portland, OR) in Feb 2021
Interview
Within one business day of submitting my application I received an email from the Recruiting Coordinator requesting my availability for an interview. I was provided a link to a user friendly calendar to select and submit my windows of availability. The very next day I received an invitation for my initial interview.
The first interview was only 30 minutes. It was a high level interview touching on my background, experience, overall qualifications for the position and cultural fit.
The very next day I received an invitation to attend three additional 30 minute interviews with upper level managers and professional peers. Like the first interview, these three interviews focused on my qualifications for the position, but more focus was placed on educating me about the company and the role and addressing any questions I had.
The next day I received another request from the Recruiting Coordinator for availability for a fourth and final interview. The final interview was with an upper level manager and also only 30 minutes. This interview touched briefly on my background and then the interviewer opened it up to me to ask questions and get a good feel for the company's mission and the responsibilities of the role I was interviewing for.
Prior to each interview, the Recruiting Coordinator sent me a friendly reminder. Never before had I been led through the interview process by such an engaging and welcoming group of exemplary professionals.
Within a week of my final interview I received an offer. Following acceptance of the offer the People Operations team immediately began the onboarding process, providing me with all of the documents, information and equipment needed for a successful start.
This was hands down the best recruitment experience I have ever had. I am happy to be on board and proud to be a member of such a fantastic organization. Thank you to all that made it happen.
