      Teacher Aide Interview

      26 May 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Forest Hill, MD
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Celebree School (Forest Hill, MD) in Apr 2021

      Interview

The interview process was horrible. Questions that were asked weren’t close to being important to the job. as someone is a bad test taker but is smart will fail the interview. I was someone who helped tutor kids throughout elementary, middle and Highschool. I would have been An amazing Teacher aide yet my interview answers made them decline me. How can you pick someones’ work ability based on stupid past experience questions, ??? Someone can completely BULL through questions and be HORRIBLE at the job and someone who has anxiety and struggled to find examples aka me, would have been a GREAT candidate for the position but was declined because of the interview. I have been around children my whole life, I love working with children. I am Good at it. I am patient. I am loving. A parent wants someone who WANTS to be there. Not someone who just needs a job. I was EXCITED to have an interview. I have NEVER been declined a job before , I was also never asked these stupid questions. I spent $150. on a stupid interview outfit because they make you wear something specific. I just had a baby and I had no clothes that fit. I’ve been to many interviews. They should ask you questions BASED on the job. Aka, “ Why do you think you should have this position” “ what do you want this job to look like” “ what do you think parents want to see in a teacher aide.” “ can you spend 8 hours a day on your feet around 4 year olds, running around with them, assisting in activities” not stupid behavior questions. This interview has discouraged me from wanting to work in any Celebree buildings.

      Teacher Aide Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

      Interview

First you do a virtual interview with a recruiter. Then, you schedule an in-person interview, with a tour of the school and a brief explanation of how it goes. Then you sit down, talk about yourself and whatever. You get a reply pretty quickly. HR calls you first to confirm your interest and sends the offer letter.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

“Do you have an age group that you prefer to teach”
