I interviewed at the corporate office in Clayton, and the people I interviewed with were generally very nice. Although the offices are modern, the company seems insular and somewhat stuck in a time warp. As has been noted, corporate employees are expected to wear formal business attire (i.e., suits and ties), which seems very dated today given that even most law and consulting firms have business casual policies when they are not meeting with clients. The executive management team is on a separate floor that is guarded with lock and key. Your employee card needs to be programmed to be able to reach that floor, which doesn't necessarily foster open door management. The senior people in HR were often disorganized and unprofessional. They would say practically anything to keep you engaged until the end.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Centene
Interview
The interview Process was straightforward. There were Some delays with the talent team in getting things scheduled. Everyone was polite and friendly. It wasn’t the speediest process but it was not overly difficult.
