The interview with the hiring manager almost seemed lifeless, like a canned script. First - elevator pitch from the hiring manager, "Why do you want to work at Centene?" then a bunch of random SQL questions. They made no effort to get to know me or roll on a conversation. Every question was off a script. One of the hiring managers didn't want to turn on their video, even though it was a video interview. Seemed like the type of place that would stick you into a box and lay you off without a second thought. Would have declined if I got an offer.
