I had to complete a short answer questions relating to my topic over email, then had a screening call, then a 2 hour in person interview with my team and others in similar programs.

Fairly straightforward interview assessing my suitability for the role, prior experience and compatibility with the team. I was their first interview, so the questions were a bit disjointed, but otherwise a pleasant experience.
