Interview
Interview committee consisted of one instructor who actually knew the subject matter. I was asked to give a short class, only one person knew anything about the subject. The one person who knew the subject matter had less experience and less education.

Interview
I met with a team of faculty and staff for a panel interview. Each person on the committee took a turn to ask questions. These were general interview questions about my teaching experience and classroom management techniques. I was then invited to give a teaching presentation with a class of college students. The students were welcoming and the experience was much less stressful than I had anticipated. I then met with the interview committee for a follow-up interview and was hired several days later.
