I interviewed with the hiring manager for a data entry position. At the end of the interview he walked me back to the entrance. Before I could even leave the office the receptionist asked him “Did you find who you’re looking for?” He silence told me everything I needed to know. I never did hear back from the company. I understand if I wasn’t the right person for the job but was it really appropriate to discuss me right when I’m in the room? The fact that I was moments away from walking out the door did not prevent me from overhearing anything. Very unprofessional behavior.
