Interview
I first had a fairly thorough phone screening with a recruiter, and then was moved to the next round in the process for an in-person interview at the headquarters office. The interview was a standard format, where I had a one-on-one conversation with a representative from the department overseeing the position. The hiring manager was not involved, though it sounds like I would have met with them in the next round of interviews had I been moved through to the next step of the hiring process.

Question 1
Tell me about your previous human resources experience, and how it aligns and also how it may vary from this role.
Met with the hiring leader first. Then was asked to interview with the HR Director and CEO and COO. The process was simple and straightforward. No interviews with peers of the position.
No interview. The position has been open for months yet they haven't hired anyone. I wonder why?
Received the following at 2pm on Sunday:
"Thank you for taking the time to apply for the Training & Development Director position with MMC Corp. After carefully reviewing your application we regret to inform you that we will not be moving forward with you as a candidate at this time."

1) Why do you feel this position has been posted over and over for month without anyone being hired?
