Fairly straight forward, 3 stage interview, 1 x HR, 1 x Hiring manager, 1 x Director. Was told the week after that I was successful, however I was told it would be 2 weeks until a contract could be produced, which was accepted. The two weeks pass and they ask for another two weeks, which I thought unusual. I eventually chased after 10 days and was told it would be another 2-3 months before they had full board approval! Would have thought board approval would have been sought before you out someone through a 3 stage interview and offer them a job. Effectively this wasted 6-7 weeks in my job search, however I did learn in future I won’t stop looking for other roles until I have a contract and a start date in my inbox.
