I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cetera Financial Group (Washington, DC) in Feb 2020
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a hiring manager. We spoke about the company, the role, and I even attended a virtual "home office visit." After this, things went downhill. Manager never reached out to me after this and I had to contact a recruiter to express interest in the role as I wanted to continue the process. Where I found issue is that hiring manager did not properly communicate and make me aware of what was going on even after I emailed him two times before being routed to him via the recruiter which I thought was unprofessional. Bottomline, if someone is emailing you, have the professional courtesy to respond.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cetera Financial Group in Mar 2020
Interview
2 rounds of interviews. First was a behavioral phone interview. Second was over zoom with different members of recruiting process and was based on behavioral questions as well. Overall very easy interview,
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cetera Financial Group (Albany, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
I was invited to come in for a group interview. During this interview most managers of the branch ask questions about your knowledge of financial planning and Cetera and see how you interact with others as a whole. After the interview they take each person individually and interview them in their designated rooms.
