I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Lone Tree, CO) in Oct 2015
Interview
I had a contractor that Schwab uses reach out to me and ask preliminary questions before he passed on my information to the Schwab Talent Acquisition (TA) member. From there I had one phone conversation with the TA member and we set up my phone interview. I had one phone interview that was about an hour long and got the job a week from that time.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Austin, TX) in Mar 2018
Interview
There are 3 rounds of interviews. The first round is mostly about the company and where you see yourself, the second assessed your personality and I believe there was an online test to determine your mathematical abilities and familiarity with investments. The last interview was over Skype as I am not currently located near the job site. Hiring staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive.
