Started off quick and great. Had three interviews within 2 weeks. The first interview was with the recruiter for 30 minutes, the 2nd with the hiring manager for 30 minutes, the 3rd with the Outreach team where I had to do a sales pitch for 30 minutes where I had prepared for over 10 hours- researching medical journals, putting together a presentation, etc. and was consistently told I had done extremely well. Then I was ghosted for 2 weeks. I emailed, I called, and finally got a 4th interview with the CEO for 15 minutes. I was asked for references the next day. Two weeks later, I called and left a message. Another week goes and I received a call and was told there were a lot of applicants and I did not get the job. My references were not called.

Extensive but for a reason. Initial exploratory call with recruiter, formal interview with direct supervisor and then another with the regional supervisor. Plus a case study/mock pitch that they score. Only 2% of applicants make it through
