Charlotte Symphony Orchestra interview questions

Applied online, received an invitation to an initial interview with HR less than 24 hours later. The initial interview went very well and I left with a second interview with the department head and a good feeling about the position. The second interview went fine, but there seemed to be a disconnect somewhere in the organization as to what the actual job function would be for this position. The department head described the role very differently than HR. Still, I felt pretty good about it and was told I would hear an answer from them in 2-3 weeks. It has now been 2.5 months and I have never received another communication from CSO. They never responded to my thank you or follow up. I recently noticed they reposted the same job online under a slightly different title. I had hoped for at least true courtesy of a rejection email.

Both the human resources contact and the department head were personable and friendly. I was especially impressed at the courtesy extended to me when I did not receive the position.
