One of the worst phone screens I ever had. The guy budgeted time for the call in seconds, not minutes and certainly not hours. He actually told me to stay on point when I deviated from the question too much for his taste, but rudely. After hanging up, I got a rejection email and the entire process was done and completed within an hour. Obviously, even if I'd been hired, there wouldn't be any way to advance. I would have been a java developer and nothing different, forever.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy
Interview
This was the worst interview experience I ever gone through.
I got a call from Chewy HR on the opportunity and it had following process.
Java online questions to solve in 10mins, It was easy if you are good in Java.
Technical interview for about 45 mins, Interviewer was not that experienced and he was asking all from the internet.
I had answered all/most of it and he was quit satisfied in that as well.
I didn’t hear back from them even after 3 days, when I checked they said that I am using legacy technologies(I was like really), I am using Java 8, Spring, Angularjs, Oracle, I never new these are legacy :) .
Even HR didn’t have much answer, first of all HR called me based on my resume and she said it is well fit in their team and I never expected someone would give this bad reason, be careful with these guys, looks like they select only based on reference.
