I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (New York, NY) in Sept 2017
Interview
The interview process was so quick. I went in for an interview and the manager seemed to be short on time which made me feel like I might already have been hired due to immediate need of my position at the location. He was friendly, relatable, and made me feel comfortable. The interview took place at one of the eating tables next to customers which was a little strange to me since the customers could hear our conversation. After he asked everything he needed, he assured me he would call me within that week to give me a response.

Question 1
How would you handle a situation where a customer isn't happy with their meal?
Interview was chill. Manager was friendly and asked basic questions about myself and work experience in a kitchen (which prior to this role was zero). I think he primarily wanted to see that I had a strong drive and work ethic.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mississauga, ON) in Jul 2025
Interview
The interviewer asks about your experience in the kitchen, why you want to work at chipotle, Why you think you would be a good fit and an overall check to you as a person for customer service.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me about my experience in customer service and in the kitchen
Group interview. Very informal. Was asked to come and observe for second interview and it was awkward and the employees were unwelcoming and didnt really seem interested in making the interview process enjoyable.
