I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Palm Desert, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Applied online and it only took 5 days e-mailing me that they want to interview me. I got there 10 minutes early from the time that I was asked to be there and met 4 other people. The manager was 10-15 minutes late before doing a group interview. He basically told us what Chipotle as a company is, what their job is and more about working for Chipotle. At the end, he told us that he will contact us by e-mail or call us if we're going to get a second interview and get closer to being hired in Chipotle.

Question 1
Why should I hire you?
If you could be any character from any movie, who would it be and why?
What do you know about Chipotle?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
