I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle in Mar 2015
Interview
The interview process was quite easy! They interviewed me and asked me basic questions, before having me come back in 2 hours later for a second interview to speak with the Apprentice of the location. I was offered the job on the spot and accepted. However, I quit a few days later because the hours were ridiculous (and above my maximum hours I wanted), and they expected a lot of you. If you want a fast-paced job that keeps you constantly busy, this is for you, just make sure you know what you're getting into. The employees were all super nice, though!
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
