I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (New York, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
I applied online at the Chipotle website and I got an email either the next day or two days later saying they want an interview. It was at 4:30PM (I had to go right after school since I am a student) and they asked me all types of questions. It was very short, I expected it to be a long interview. It was probably less than 10 minutes long and they were very friendly. It was a great experience.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
