      Interview

Application Review: Initial Screening: The process begins with reviewing applications and resumes to shortlist candidates who meet the basic qualifications for the role. Phone or Video Screening: Initial Interview: A brief interview, usually conducted by an HR representative, to discuss the candidate's background, experience, and interest in the position. Basic technical questions or situational questions may also be asked to ensure the candidate is a good fit for further interviews. Technical or Skills Assessment: Technical Interview: This stage may include coding tests, problem-solving exercises, or other skills assessments relevant to the role. Candidates may be asked to complete assignments or participate in a technical interview with a subject matter expert. Portfolio Review: For creative or design roles, candidates may be asked to present a portfolio or previous work samples. Behavioral Interview: In-depth Interview: This stage often involves multiple interviews with different team members, including potential peers, managers, or even executives. The focus is on understanding the candidate's soft skills, such as teamwork, leadership, communication, and how they handle challenges. STAR Method: Candidates are often asked behavioral questions using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to evaluate how they have handled specific situations in the past. Final Interview or Panel Interview: Comprehensive Evaluation: In this stage, candidates may meet with a panel of interviewers who ask a combination of technical, behavioral, and situational questions. This interview aims to assess the candidate's overall fit for the role and the company. Reference Check: Verification: The company may contact previous employers, colleagues, or other references provided by the candidate to verify their experience, work ethic, and other relevant aspects. Job Offer: Offer Negotiation: If the candidate successfully passes all the interview stages, they receive a job offer, which may include salary, benefits, and other employment terms. Negotiation may occur at this stage. Onboarding: Integration: Once the offer is accepted, the candidate goes through the onboarding process, where they are introduced to the company, their team, and their role. Training and orientation may be provided to help them acclimate to their new position.
