I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cisco in Oct 2016
Interview
I had to go through 4 interviews from Senior Managers and Senior Quality Engineers. The overall interview process was quite straightforward. They asked me questions mostly regarding data science and about my previous experiences. I got the offer after 2 weeks and I accepted the offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Prepare for all the data science topics like Machine Learning, Time series analysis, Statistics etc. They will also ask you a lot about your previous work experience if any and regarding your background and how well could you fit into the role. Interviews were not too difficult but you need to prepare well in order to get an offer. Best of luck.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cisco (Durham, NC) in Feb 2026
Interview
It's a 3-round interview where the first one is a recruiter, followed by technical and HR. The hiring process is slow but fair and interactive. The initial round is so basic, like just trying to know the profile and flexibility, waiting on the next ones.
